The Centre Point

 

Schooner Centre Point was. probably lost in the gale of August 24th, 1873, as she was last seen adrift on the Bank that day.
Her crew comprised eleven persons, viz.,

Antone Rose
Hugh McEachren
Peter Peterson
Thomas Keefe
Frederic Wilson
Charles Erickson
Edward Burns

supposed to have been on board.
Owned by Dodd, Tarr & Co. Valued at $3,500; and insured for $3,063.
