Dragger Loses Man Overboard

The local dragger Leretha, Capt. Richard Sparrow, now fishing out of Fulton market, New York, arrived at Fulton market late Monday afternoon, with her American flag at half-mast, in memory of one of her crew, James Murphy, 35 years, single, of New Bedford, who was lost overboard from the vessel Saturday evening while the boat was fishing in the Channel.

Murphy is said to have fished out of both Boston and Gloucester in the past.
