Fisherman Dies At Sea

Arthur Kelsey Martin, 60, well known Gloucester fisherman for over 40 years, died unexpectedly at sea last night aboard the Boston beam trawler Comet on Georges Bank off Cape Cod.

Word was radioed ashore by the Comet, which is taking the body to the Boston Fish Pier, due Sunday morning.  Martin was born in Gloucester, the son of Mrs. Alice (Havner) Martin and the late William Martin.   He was a member of the Gloucester branch, Atlantic Fishermen's Union.  Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lauretta (Westgate) Martin, three sons, two daughters, and a sister.
