Schooner Vesta, lost in the gale of August 1837, crew of seven men, viz.:

Josiah H. Fears, master
George Goodrich
Edward Prindall
David Butler
William Mason
Edward Bell
and one other whose name we could not learn.

Valued at $2,000; insured for $1,000.
