The Plesant Bay

 

Schooner Plesant Bay was lost in April 1860. 

William H. Gage, master. Of the crew of eight men, the name of Wlm. Hodgkins, of this town, is the only one known; four of the others hailed from Beverly.

Fitted by Messrs. Pettingill & Cunningham, and owned in Essex and Beverly.Valued at $3,800; insured for $3,300.
