Augustus Collins, leaves widow and one child
Stephen McGrath, leaves widow and three children

The R. E. Spofford was 100 tons burthen, owned by Messrs. Rust, Clark & Co., built at Essex in 1859, and valued with her outfits at $8000. Insured at The Gloucester Mutual Fishing Insurance Office for $4000.
