The Dreadnaught

 

The Sch. Dreadnaught left port Feb. 18th 1862 and has been absent nearly six weeks. She was nearly 83 tons burthen, owned by Pettengill & Cunningham; valued at $3600, and insured in the Gloucester Fishing Ins. Co., for $3150. Her crew list comprised nine persons, as follows:

Geo. F. Dunnells, master, leaves a widow and two children
Manuel Silver, leaves a widow and three children
David Lurvey
Wm. T. McCrate
John Silver
Josiah Scott,
Chas. N. Baker
Jacob Hopster
Ruben Walker, single
