The Raven

 

Sch. Raven left port on the sixth day of February 1864.
Her crew list comprised nine persons, viz.:

John Kennedy, master, leaves widow and three children
John Shuttleworth, leaves widow and five children
Chas. McLellan, leaves widow and three children
Benjamin Crittenden, leaves widow and one child
Nicholas Foley, leaves widow
William Wallace
Manuel Rogers
Geo. L. Dresser
Alexander Terry

The Raven was 83 tons burthen, built at Essex in 1852, and owned by Messrs. Pettingell & Cunningham. She was valued at $3600, and insured at the Gloucester Mutual Fishing Insurance Office for $3150.
