Michael McGinley was born in 1848 in
Aughalatty, Carrigart, Donegal, Ireland.
He came to the United States about 1864.
He was lost with the Charles Hildreth.
He married Mary Robischau in Gloucester, Mass.
in December of 1874. Mary Robischau was born 1851 in Digby, Nova Scotia.
Michael and Mary were the parents of three
sons,
William (1875-1945)
Dennis (1876-1945)
Stephen (1880-1948)
Stephen grew up to work on one of the
fireboats used in Boston harbor, and received to life saving commendations during his
