The John H. Crittenden

 

The Sch. John J. Crittenden left port Feb. 22nd 1862, and has been absent nearly five weeks. She was nearly 96 tons burthen; owned by Pettengill & Cunningham; valued at $4200, and insured in the Gloucester Fishing Ins. Co., for $3675.
Her crew list comprised ten persons as follows:

Jas. McCarty, master, leaves a widow and two children
Jos. M. Cableck, leaves a widow and two children
Saml. Colby, leaves a widow and four children
Frederick Scott, leaves a widow and three children
Timothy Currin, leaves a widow and two children
Wm. Kiley, leaves a widow and two children
Michael Stapleton, leaves a widow and five children
Michael Daniels, leaves a widow and one child
Danl. McAdams, leaves a widow and three children
David Benkam, single
