The Thorwaldsen

 

Schooner Thorwaldsen left Newfoundland for Gloucester, Feb. 18th, 1873, with a cargo of frozen herring, and never reached port.
Had a crew of seven men, as follows:

Ronald McEachren
John Crittenden
Donald McDonald
William Smith

Owned by Capt. James R. Hamilton and others. Valued at $7,800; insured for $6,825.
