The Charger

 

Sch. Charger , 51.25 tons, built at Essex in 1869 and engaged in freighting sand, lost on the passage from Ipswich to Boston in January 1887.  
Her crew of four men were lost, viz.:

Daniel Hollis, master, left a widow and family in Lynn
John McEachern, of Lynn, unmarried
Julius Johnson, of Lynn, unmarried
Fred. Spates, of Lynn, unmarried
