18th - Capt. John Anderson, 48, of Sweden, lost from sch. Tatania off Georges, left widow and six children. Stephen Hogan, 28, of Carbonese, N. J., lost off Georges from sch. Maggie Sullivan

19th - William Sullivan, 31 of Gloucester, single, lost off Green Banks, from sch. Madonna

6th - Sch. Mildred Robinson, off Cashes, lost John O'Neil, 22, of Gloucester

22nd - John F. Nelson, 55 of Sweden, lost off Georges from sch. Blanche. Amos Smith, 23, single, of Port Matoun, lost from sch. Jennie B. Hodgdon off the Grand Banks

26th - Frank Berthone (alias Bato) 17, of France, lost from sch. Gladiator off Grand Banks.   His dorymate, Joseph Abbey, (alias Hobbey), 26, single, native of France, was also lost.

2nd - Walter Prishon, (alias McDonald ), single, 23, of Cape Breton, lost off Georges from sch. Appomattox

22nd - Sch. Theodore Roosevelt lost two men, George Bowie, 28, and Peter McDonald, 27, both of Nova Scotia and single,  off Grand Banks

9th - David Campbell, 52, of Cape Breton, lost off New York from sch. Arbutus

26th - Sch. S. P. Willard lost Charles White, 26, single, native of Port Hogan, N. S. at Arichat.

29th - John Fagan, 22, of Salmonier, N. F. lost off Grand Banks from sch. Tattler

21st - William Taylor, 22, single, of Trepassey, N. F. lost from sch. Flirt off Quero Bank


September

15th - James Sterling, 50, of Ireland died on board Sch. Matthew Keany off Liverpool, N. S. of heart failure.


November

14th - Henry Morton, 30, of England, lost off Georges from sch. Arthur D. Story


December

9th - Carl Anderson, 36, and Isaac Olson, 40, both of Finland lost off Cape Sable from sch. Niagra.   Sch. Fish Hawk off Cape Sable lost John Kehoe, 31, of Bay Bulls, N. F.

21st - William Atkins, 35, of Cape Sable, N. S. fell from the mainboom of  sch. Squanto on Quero bank. Left widow and four children.
