1931

November - The Edith and Elinor, rammed in fog off Yarmouth, six men lost.


1932

January - The Aberrance - Francis DeRoche, who was drowned on Cashes, due to the overloading of his dory.
               Sch. Marguerite had tough experience but crew is saved.
               The Grace and Evelyn burns to waters edge,  all hands safe

February - The Eleanor Nickerson - Run down near LeHave Bank, 21 men missing after crash with steamer.

September - The Patara, crew of six, plus one "guest" lost without a trace.

November - Given up for dead, rescued after being adrift six days without food or water


1933

December - The Ellen T. Marshall - was consumed by flames and three men lost.
                   The Catherine burned after hitting shoal outside Canso, N. S., crew saved.


1934

August -  - Lewis Enslow fell over the rail of sch.The Killarney and was drowned.
