There were three vessels and fifteen lives lost this year, as follows:

Schooner General Scott, lost on Georges in November.

Schooner Canton, lost on Georges in November. Had seven men.

Schooner Frances Elizabeth, lost near Sparling’s Point, Me., November 26th. Crew saved. Valued at $1,000; insured for $800.
