There were two vessels and ten lives lost this year, as follows:

Schooner Levi Woodbury, lost in October.

Schooner Enchantress, Enoch Snow, master, lost on Cape Sable, June 4th. Crew saved. Owned by Joseph O. Procter. Valued at $1,000; one quarter insured for $200.
